At Včielka MiMa, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up connected to their language, culture, and family heritage. Living abroad brings countless wonderful opportunities, but it can also make it challenging for children to maintain their Slovak identity. We are here to help families keep that connection alive.

Our Saturday School

Our Saturday School provides high-quality Slovak language and cultural education for children growing up in the UK. Twice each month, children participate in fun, engaging three-hour sessions where they learn through:

• Stories
• Games
• Creative activities
• Music
• Drama
• Hands-on projects

Lessons are thoughtfully planned by experienced educators to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and make learning enjoyable.

Individual Attention

We know that every child learns differently. That’s why we keep our classes small, with approximately one teacher for every eight children. This structure allows us to give each child the individual attention they need to:

• Develop their language skills
• Express themselves with confidence
• Progress at their own pace

The Importance of Learning Slovak

Learning Slovak is about much more than speaking another language. It helps children:

• Communicate with grandparents and relatives
• Understand their family history
