Meet Our Teaching Team

We are excited to introduce you to our dedicated team members:

• Oblaciky – Classroom for 6-12 years old: Erika is a qualified primary school teacher with a Master’s degree in Education and over 12 years of experience working with children in both Slovakia and the UK. Since joining Včielka MiMa in 2017, she has been inspiring bilingual children to develop their Slovak language skills through creative, engaging, and interactive lessons. Erika is also the creator of our bespoke termly workbooks, which she designs for both age groups to complement the curriculum and make learning enjoyable, structured, and age-appropriate. She is passionate about helping children build confidence in their language, celebrate their Slovak heritage, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
• Slniecka: Classroom for 3 – 6 years old: Martina has joint our school in 2025. She has many years of experience working with children as a children assistant, in primary schools, and in after-school clubs across the UK. She recently qualified as a Teaching Assistant, further strengthening her knowledge and skills in supporting children’s learning and development. Martina holds a Master’s degree in Education and is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can flourish. She also holds qualifications in Advanced Safeguarding Children (Level 2) and Emergency Paediatric First Aid (Level 3), ensuring the highest standards of care and wellbeing for the children she supports.
• Jana is a Teaching Assistant in our younger class (Slniecka), working alongside Martina to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for our youngest pupils. As a mother herself, she brings warmth, patience, and a genuine understanding of children’s needs. Jana has previous experience working as both an au pair and a nanny, caring for children of different ages and supporting their development. Alongside her role at Včielka MiMa, she works in the NHS, where she has developed strong skills in responsibility, empathy, and teamwork. Jana enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping them learn, grow, and feel confident in a positive and supportive environment.
